Description of the work:
The National Market Introduction Plans & Actions include the development of national market introduction action plans for retailers and manufacturers and the start of the planned actions in the individual countries. This relates to specified national action plans for an appliance and equipment energy labelling program, by informing and involving market parties, especially manufacturers / importers, retailers and consumers.
 
The following activities have been accomplished:
 
National part (for each participating EU NMS and candidate country):

 Ø       Initiation of stakeholder discussions;

 Ø       Assession of national priorities;

 Ø      Identification of categories of appliances with new or problematic process of labelling;

 Ø       Design of national action plans;

 Ø       Initiation of action;

 Ø       Monitoring progress.

 
This enabled the development of national market introduction action plans by the national stakeholder platforms and the start of the planned actions in the countries.
National Market Introduction plan covers consumer & retail chain information & communication, including stakeholder discussions and financial, institutional and marketing arrangement required for implementation.
The implementation of the national Market Introduction plan includes execution of consumer information/communication activities and execution of retail chain information / communication activities.
